Camping and Tipi Hire

Whether camping in the woods or along the field margin (available in the summer months),  there is plenty of space here and a site to suit everyone.  

We have tipi’s for hire, which come come with coconut flooring and chimineas to keep you cosy on a chilly evening. Please be advised that you will need to bring your own bedding, lamps and torches etc.
          
We have hard standing and electric hookups for caravans.There are toilets and shower blocks on site.
Fires are allowed in the designated fire pits in the woodland areas. Please do not light fires in the top field or where there is no designated fire pit.
 
Dogs are welcome on leads at an additional price (please note that this is a firm  house rule to protect the wildlife and the children who play in the woods).

Prices

Camping & Caravans:

Adults - £7.00
Children (4+) - £3.50
Dogs - £2.00
Electric hookups - £2.00

Tipis:

2 person - £30.00 per night

4 person - £60 per night

6 person - £90.00 per night

10 person - £150.00 per night

This equates to just £15.00 per person per night. More people can be accommodated in each tipi at £15.00 per night extra

We supply Fire Wood on site at £5 for a wheelbarrow, when available, but you can bring your own.!

Due to the delicate eco system in the SSSI woodland (Site of Special Scientific Interest) foraging for wood will not be tolerated.

Please note that any criminal damage to the site, including any damage to live trees, will be reported to the police and a fine charged.

The campsite at The Hollybush Inn.

We offer a relaxed and friendly camping environment in our lovely woodland setting on the banks of the River Wye.

The campsite is perfectly situated for walking in the Black Mountains and exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park which is on our doorstep.

We are within a few miles of the famous  Book town of Hay-On-Wye with its great selection of  independent shops, where you can buy  local artists work and is an excellent source of retail therapy.

In the other direction there is the historic town of Brecon with its fine cathedral, canal walks and theatre.
